1) I used to be very involved within the black metal community as a 
whole, but I grew older and learned that music is in no way limited to 
one genre, which this list indeed declares. As Xasthur is no longer an 
active band, I would guess my favorite black metal bands currently are 
Deathspell Omega, Katharsis and the likes.
